It has taken 18 months, but now the Information Commissioner has informed Reading Borough Council that it was wrong to obstruct a Freedom of Information request regarding communications sent between senior officers at the Borough Council and the MP for Reading West, Labour's Martin Salter.Cllr Warren Swaine has further details of officer's non-compliance with the ruling of the Information Commisioner, while Janestheone digests the information in her own way.

Might this have anything to do with with Mr Salter's campaign to have Freedom of Information not apply to MPs? What's he got to hide? What does WAS know that he's not telling us?
